In this episode, Alan and Walden are trying to find a way to get rid of Alan's ex-wife, Judith, who is living in the beach house. Meanwhile, Jake is trying to get a date with a girl he likes. Alan and Walden come up with a plan to get rid of Judith by having her move in with her new boyfriend, Herb. However, their plan backfires when Herb and Judith decide to get married. Jake eventually gets his date, but it doesn't go as planned. In the end, Alan and Walden realize that they need to accept Judith and Herb's relationship and move on.
